Shatter
Well, yesterday was Tuesday and I had some free time again, so here’s the shatter video I made in After Effects using CC Pixel Polly and a Fast Blur. The last one of these I uploaded (The Blueprint Reveal) I had an idea of what I might use it for, but this one is just for fun, or until I think I could use it. I got some help from a tutorial yesterday, and figured it out, and it works pretty well.
By the way, there are lots if sites that give free tutorials to help you learn how to create great effects. I’m going try and use the techniques I’ve learned on this one to use on other projects.

Nice video! How long does it take to produce something like this? If I wanted to learn how to do this, what would be the first step?

It took me about an hour to do it because I was figuring it out, but if I did it again, probably like 20 minutes. I think an intermediate person at Adobe After Effects could do it, maybe a beginner that understands the basics.
